This is off the center console in a 92` es300. It`s not going off or anything I was just wanting to know what this key symbol means. I do not have an owners manual to tell me what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that's probably the security light. My '98 lights up as soon as I take the key out of the ignition (or turn the ignition off, haven't paid that close attention to it ). Mine actually says security, but the key kinda says the same thing to me.

It`s not the security light because mines on the dash beside the drivers side window. Hmm. I wish I got a manual from the guy I purchased the vehicle from. I don`t know a lot of these features that came with the car. haha

RADIO security light. In the owners manual (which you don;t have you said), there should be a section on it where you can program a key in the radio, so if it;s stolen, they can;t use it. My '96 Camry with the optional upgraded stereo had the same thing.

Ok thanks. After looking for a very long time, I found an owners manual online. Yea it has to do with the anti theft system and how the stereo will not work if stolen from the vehicle. Very interesting and yet a very good idea. Cars just keep getting more interesting. thanks for the help guys.
