Do you know what your talking about? I HAVE a 2.5L JDM motor in my Camry right now. And it;s not better as stock. I;m tryign some stuff with the SC on it that MAY in which be a better engine for if I can work the details out. And I'm not a JDM fanboy much. Most of my JDM parts on my Corolla re for function, not for. Only the rear tails are for cosmetic because I just wanted a different look. My headlights and interio JDM parts are for function. On my Camry, I don't have any JDM parts on it. Both of my cars I am build as daily drivers with the option to take them RIGHT onto the track on a day I feel like racing, with no ill effects. Thats how I build my cars.

Yea the time required and rather you have the know how to do it, should determine if you should take this on. If you have to pay someone to do it, I would advise not doing it. Maintaince is another consideration you should make. More power more wear on... well everything.
