Wuddup ClubLexus?

I finally got my first car, a '97 ES300!

I've been lurking around the forums for a while, learning basic DIY stuff like oil
changes etc, and finally made myself an account now that I have a Lexus of my own. Previously I would do basic stuff on both my mom's RX330, and my dad's ES330. Moving on, my car was not maintained perfectly, so I am going to get it painted, drop in a GPS, etc. Now, for my questions: Are there any tutorials on how to install Angel-Eye Headlights? Also, are there any tutorials on how to tint the windows?

Welcome to the club! Angel - Eye Headlights I have seen that but not done well, good luck on that one. Have you installed tint before? If the answer is no, I would recommend not doing it. You can get tint done for under $200 and thats with a lifetime warranty. Versus maybe $100 and having to redo it in a couple years maybe weeks. IMO time is money and its not worth it for my time. When I have to drop the vechicle anywhere Im wasting money and messing around finding rides and such. But if you got great friends and a free schedule more power to you.

Welcome to the club! Angel headlights are tricky little things to do I heard. But window tint I would recommend going to a professional so it looks perfect. And pics would be great!

 

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll post some pics as soon as I get home. Are you absolutely sure there are no Angel-Eye kits for the ES300? Are there ways I could make myself some angel-eyes or would it not be worth it?

 

Do a quick google search. I have seen it done on a ES on cardomain but I doubt there is a kit. Also search here for all the folks who have done some amazing things.

 

all that fancy stuff gets old really quickly.
if u got no projectors in the headlights, do a retrofit!

If you really want angel eyes, please do a retrofit, cause I don't think having the angel eyes siting there will look good at all, just my 2 cents
