Monroe Sensatrac struts
Hi,
I tried to find out about KYB struts and Auto Advanced Parts said it is only available for the front of the 1998 ES300. Is that true, I thought I saw it available from the KYB web site? Anyway, they don't seem to be easily available. Anyone has experience with Monroe SensaTrac Gas struts? The Lexus shop said the reason they don't use them is because they tend to make a lot of noise in the back. Is that true or they just want me to go for the LEXUS expensive struts which double the costs? Anyone out there with an ES300 changed their struts yet? Can you share your experience? Thanks in advance.

Found KYB struts
Thanks. Just got the following reply from KYB (or their distributor). I think I'll go for the KYB struts afterall.
I do have them all in stock now and the rears are $70 each and the fronts
are $86.76 each shipped. They have just been released so that is why they
are not on our site yet. The front part #'s are 334-245 and 334-246.The
rears are here: http://coximport.com/kyb/gl.html
Let me know.
Thanks,Dave

Why don't you try Tokico HP Blue struts? It's a little better than the KYB GR-2.

Goto www.tokicogasshocks.com, and search under the '97-'01 Camry or '99-current Solara platform, and you will find 4 part numbers for each 4 corners. Then get a quote from www.shox.com or anywhere that carries Tokico.
