Atlanta has her now...
Unfortunately, about a month or so ago a group of people raided my apartment complex in the city and broke into about 17 cars...
They went car to car snatching and stealing anything they could get their hands on, at least until they stumbled over my car. They broke in and stole as much as they could and destroyed my car in the process. Unfortunately to the extent that insurance totaled out the cars.
However, i must give much props to lexus and their security system setup. The group broke the window to get in and open the door. And when they did the alarm sounded and locked the system down. They then had to cut all the engine wiring just to stop the alarm from going crazy.
Sux that they had the ability to steal my dvd player, 5.1 processor, and center channel but the system locked down the trunk to safety about 4K worth of additional audio equipment and installation. THANK YOU LEXUS!
Among absolutely destroying the inside cabin of the vehicle and the dash, they tried to rip out the back seats to get into trunk and even tried bashing out the taillights in hopes to get in. Going to post pics.The destruction is of epic proportion.

WTF...... wow..... insurance will cover it. now you can get the 2013 ES350. my favorite motto is,,,, you can't have %^$%*. i feel your pain, the difference is they stole my whole car. as long as you and your family are fine. the car can be replaced.

Sorry to hear, it's kind of messed up the car wasn't even safe in the parking garage. How did these guys not get caught? Also, i maintain that this generation not only had one of the greatest interiors for its class, it had a great interior in general. So well put together and everything was just so well made and looked awesome.

That really sucks man, sorry for loss! But at least they didnt get to you trunk/subs/etc, sounds like a nice setup... How did they not get into the trunk after ripping off the back seats though? Doesnt it just pass through?

That sucks. Break ins are apartment complexes are pretty common in Atlanta. There was a rash of break ins around Buckhead, so it is not as if it is happening in the poor parts of town.

That is bad. Even worse, if they were caught they wouldn't have the money to pay you back so then they go to jail and learn how to do worse things.
Can you fix it yourself? See what the buy back % is.
