Question 98 Lexus Wheels questions

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and I just bought a 98 ES300..... my tires are gone on the car but however my friend from 400 miles away have a set of wheels and tires from the infiniti G35 laying around with close to brand new condition tires to it...... I am just wondering if it will fit before I drive up a 800 round trip to have them pick up in my truck.....

I know my stock size is 205/65/15 and the infiniti G35 wheels i am looking at 215/55/17

Do you guys know if it will fit? cause i been researching for the past 3 hours and I still don't have a very clear idea of how tires sizes works....

Thanks a lot for your help

overall diameter is a bit taller than your stock wheels. you will be going faster than what your speedometer says.

You need to be most concerned about the wheel/rim offset and lug pattern. I think the G35 is RWD too. You need to find out what the offset is for the stock G35 and compare that to the stock 98.
