Default Good idea? Bad idea?

i was wondering is it bad to use any of these engine cleaners/repairs,and do they really work and has anyone used one on your es

I have not used the products you list, but I have used Wynn's stop leak and it worked well, stopped a rear engine seal drip. It will not do anything if you have a really bad leak however. Of the two you list, I would go with the No Leak, seems like the same type of product as what I used.

I wouldn't use any of those, but that's just me. If you have a leak, you need to fix what's causing the leak instead of patching the problem. It's like covering up bad breath with Listerine.

I believe some of those stop leak products are mostly mineral oil, which serves to soften and expand the various seals, which is why they work pretty well. The ones that are nothing more than very thick oil I tend to avoid those. But it is not a permanent fix of course.

Don't use any of that...what are you trying to fix? a known leak?
