Talking Just Washed and Waxed with New Tints

So after a year of neglect during college, i figured i would spruce the es300 up a bit. just hit 190k miles a week or two ago but still runs great. Just put new rear struts on to. I waxed it and tinted the back 3 windows to 20% and the front 2 are 30%. I like the difference and the inside of the car is so much cooler without the sun. No particular order to the pictures. just a reflection shot, a sideview, then a picture showing the difference between the old tint and the new tint. Sorry the pictures are so bad, just used an iphone.

Your ES looks ddaaaang clean man. Really impressed. And I personally love the charcoal grey colour, always wished mine was that colour.

I'm looking at getting mine tinted as well, just out of curiosity how much was your tinting?

I originally paid 120 for the 5 windows doing 20% on the very back and 30% on the 4 sides. After a year i regretted going 30% on the 4 sides, so i went back and had them remove the old tint on the rear sides and re-tint them 20% to match the very back. For that i paid 70 bucks, so all together it came out to be $190

Sweet bro!! Thats good to know. I'll definitely get the rear three at the same tint. In cali, the legal limit is 35%... I'm pretty sure I'll get away with 30%.
On the front sides I'll just get 50% and call it a day.

Thanks!

No problem. I got tint for a few reasons, mainly to keep the interior cool (i have a black interior) but other benefits have been discouraging against theft. I used to go to a private school that was really close to a terrible pat of the city, and if the window was ever borken, it wouldn't shatter. The looks were just another positive haha. The car is so much cooler with the tints though, its incredible especially since i have to park outside.
