Default motor mount replacement?

Well I'm guessing its the motor mount that is the problem. Whenever I drive up to around 40+mphs and let go of my gas pedal, I hear a clunking noise until I step on the break or gas pedal. How much am I looking at to get this replace? and how quickly should I replace it because my schedule is kind of tight since I have work and classes almost everyday.

get this diagnosed asap. with bad motor mounts, your exhaust system will flex way too much and eventually your flex pipe may go. that won't be cheap to fix.

well, there are three different motor mounts. 1 front, 1 rear, and 1 transmission.
i have a rear motor mount brand new/never installed that I will let go since I'm no longer in the ES scene.

rear motor mount - around $80 from Lexus
front motor mount- usually around $150 on ebay, but i strongly suggest not getting ebay motor mounts since they are almost always junk, so OEM will be more expensive
transmission motor mount - usually around $110 on ebay, but once again I strongly suggest OEM toyota

if you need a rear motor mount, Ill sell it to you for $40
goodluck with your issues

Charley

Get the car diagnosed by a pro, never guess on repairs.

Forgot to update this, apparently I still have the codes but the clunking noises wasn't from a motor mount issue but my heat shield rusted out. Luckily I was looking at my engine today and my A/C belt is holding on by a thread I got it to the mechanic today hopefully I get it tomorrow

Do you know if it was the catalytic converter's heatshield? That's the first thing I had to remove from my car when i got it. It was hanging on by one corner.

Yes you can. It's there to prevent fires and to protect the cat from thermal shock. I have mine removed.
