I have 1995 ES300, which currently sits on 2006 GS300 17" rims. Stock tires are 225/50/17, and they rub the rear fender b/c of the 7mm spacers even after rolling those fenders.
Now tires are bald, what smaller tires can I install with 2006 GS 17" rims to avoid the rubbing of fender and possibly struts?
1) 225/45/17?
2) 215/50/17?
3) Or ???
Thanks,
Offset for GS rims is +45. I've read many threads and couldn't find out which tires can be used with 2006 GS 17" rims on a 1995 ES300.
Thanks,

No wonder, the 225/50 are balloon sized on something smaller like an ES.
Get either of the two sizes you posted... They're the same, well within 1% difference of each other.
I'd recommend the 225/45-17 since its common as dirt as a stocke size on many cars, so more available in that size vs. the 215/50-17... Been there, done that!
