Hello- I'm a newbie with a recently purchased 2002 ES300. Can someone tell me about the interior "wood" trim? Is this a real wood veneer, wood-looking plastic, or a decal, or what? I see that the backing pieces are definitely plastic. Just wondering! Thanks- Richard

It's real-ish. Someone sanded down a panel once and it was 1-2mm thick, laid over the plastic and epoxied of whatever they do to mate the surfaces.

Its real wood, but the thinnest of veneers, not a cent was spent on any more wood than was necessary to get the look...
