TIS Manual: Who has downloaded it?
Well for $15 it's kind of hard to beat. The info is remarkable and very detailed, but the hours it took me to download them was crazy.
I wish there was an everything button!

I assume they are talking about this http://techinfo.toyota.com
Sounds like the Subaru STIS, mainly dealers buy a constant subscription and have a library of updated service manuals at hand. Anyone can buy a subscription, they usually have short 24-72 hour options for individuals or shops doing a specific job.
For the end user, you can buy a short subscription when you need it, or what some do is attempt to download all of the service manual pages during that short subscription time, for later use. Typically the manual pages are split up, specifically so one could not just download whole manuals in one shot. Subaru even has something like a 30pages/hr download limit to slow you down.

I am thinking of doing the TIS soon. Here is another site that claims a manual for downloading but I do not know if I trust it. Anyone ever deal with this? -> http://automotive-manual.net/lexus-e...=instantmanual

I've bought a couple manuals from those places, they are usually either pirated manual pdfs that are already floating around the Internet, or they did what some others have done and bought the subscription and sucked the manuals off the official site.
If the latter, a few bucks for them to combine/sort the PDFs for you is not bad. Just know that you are buying illegal copyrighted material. And you can't be sure what you are getting. Usually look for "just like the dealer uses" or "same info dealer has" or some verbiage to subtly indicate they are selling you the good pirated stuff...
I bought the manuals for my 01 used off EBay, it wasn't too much and I have a hard copy when I am out in the Garage. Lots of dealers unloading extra copies...

I had purchased SC model service manual for this site. Yes, I able to download the manual immediately, then start my transmission repairing job. This really saves me hundred dollars. You rock randal.
Beside that, any idea where is the good place to get the “Coolant Temperature Sensor” for Lexus SC300 year 2000? Thank in advance
