Thanks for all your responses. I went with regular Mobil 1 synthetic after also asking the lexus mechanic who worked on my car. He said they do synthetic there for almost all oil changes so that pretty much convinced me to go ahead with it. I'm not too worried about leaks but I'll keep an eye out just in case.
