Default 98' ES300, no idea what I'm doing

To be completely honest, I know next to nothing about cars aside from models and makes. I'm an enthusiast more than anything.

I just picked up a white ES300 and a friend of mine showed me some OEM mods. Where do I go about learning what I can do with this car?

Welcome to Club Lexus!

What exactly are you looking to do? LED conversion? Intake?

There isn't really all that many mods for this car, just sit back and enjoy it. IMHO, this car is best stock!

You should learn the basic....oil change, other fluid change, brake, suspension, etc.
Just google DIY and you will find many answers.

Thanks so much. But I was looking more along the lines of mods that wouldn't affect the practicality of owning such a nice car. Like projector lamps.

Not sure if there is a DIY on projector lamps, but here's a post pertaining to HIDS, with a DIY link : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/7084896-post28.html

Thanks so much hypervish! I looked into it and retrofitting headlamps seems to be too technical of a task for me to try doing it myself. :x

there are a lot of things u can do with the ES, however you'd have to look at the right places for information and learn how to do it.

projector retrofit is really not that bad, but i do recommend having a spare set of headlights.
and the key of a good retrofit is to not buy cheap parts.

Erm. Would anyone happen to know where to find aftermarket radio products? My factory radio is really scratched up and hideous.

Sure, if you want to use an aftermarket radio, you will need one of these kits (sorry for the australian ebay link) Dash kit

And you can just put an aftermarket radio in that, along with a wiring harness to connect it to the stock wiring, which you can find here: Harness

Those links are for guidance, I suggest you search around and find the best place to get them from, as i dont know those sellers or anything, i'm just showing you the products.

I also suggest looking at this thread for some pictures and a nice diagram hopefully, if all the stars align and the moon is at the exact right distance from the earth, you shouldnt need alot of that stuff to get rid of the interference. But, it happens often, and even though it makes it look like a difficult thing to set up, its still quite easy.
