Default A/C Question

The other day I was using my A/C in my 95 ES300 and it was blowing cold like it always did. Turned the car off got back in it later that day and no A/C. I'm thinking the compressor has gone out on me. Any one know the best place to get one that is relitively cheap? I'm dying without my A/C.

Thanks for the help and if anyone can think of any other reason it wouldn't work I appreciate the input.

It could be a lack of refrigerant due to a leak(the compressor won't run without refrigerant in the system), a bad compressor, or an electrical problem. You'll need to get it looked at.

Things to check:
- the serp belt
- AC button/swtich is working
- the pressure on the low pressure side (to see if there is a leak or pressure is within spec)
