What's the easiest / cheapest way to watch DVD's on the stock Mark Levinson dvd based nav system? I've seen a few threads that say hook up a seperate dvd but this thing is hard drive based right so can't a new operating system or update be loaded to this thing to allow it to play dvds ? It can read the DVD to update itself so it should have most of the programing onboard already right ?

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible, you'd have to get a new aftermarket double din unit. Since you already have the dash pieces, it would still be less expensive than most 4ES guys have to spend.
