Default 2GS 300 16" rims on a 2ES

I found a killer deal on a set of 16" 1999 GS300 rims locally so I bought them. I plan on getting a set of spacers for the backs since they rub a little on the strut. The rims are ET50 and the originals are ET45. My original rims are curbed to hell and back so this is a cheap fix that actually makes the car look better. One thing I noticed is that the original GS tires are taller so what size should I go with? Should I stick with a 205 tire and have a 60 or 55 sidewall or should I go with a 215/55 tire?

Thanks

You want to stick to the factory outside diameter size. I use this calculator for figuring out the correct up-sizes.

Another way is to go on TireRack and select one of their optional tire sizes for your car. They recommend 205/60/16 for 16" wheels.
