In MD you have to retitle the wrole car to replace one plate.

Makes no sense. What if someone steals the plate? What if it is damaged in an accident? There MUST be a provision for a cheap plate replacement for situations like that.

Its like $97 to reregister the car and re-issue a new plate number, tags and stickers. Not bad, but not $5 lol.
