I have a 93 es 300. It has an automatic transmission. Lets say i were to buy a remanufactured transmission, get a flywheel, and the shifter/clutch etc. would it be that hard to make the switch to a manual??????????

Ya know, I've been toying w/ this idea for a while also. I would love to know, because automatics are too boring for me. Even in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic, I still prefer a manual.

My rational side tells me to just sell my car and get a Bimmer though

i think the cost of doing all that would come out to half of the car's bluebook value. why not just get a civic on the side then?
