Unhappy my stock brakes

Something's gotta be wrong with them. When I stop/press the brakes, the car shudders/or it seems like the brake pulses. I read that it could be the ABS...but why would it be working all the time? Besides I've ridden in my aunt's ES300...there isnt any pulsating shudders...I think something's wrong with my brakes. Could it be that they just need replacing?

It shouldn't be your ABS, if it were, you would feel the brake pedal pushing against your foot. The rotors may be warped, and if it's still under warranty, take it to your dealer and complain.

*could* be mis-aligned rotors. thats a big "could". warped rotors sounds probable too. this might sound dumb, but my friend complained of similar problems and turns out that the rod extending from the back of the brake pedal needed greasing, and was causing a very strong metal on metal vibration.

I think you guys hit it on the nose. I used to experience a similar problem, but only when braking at higher speeds(45+mph). I would get a vibration- it was warped rotors. With my Lexus still being under warranty, the dealer replaced them with roughly 46K mi. I was happy!
