I have a 99 ES300 and the car has been acting strange lately. Sometimes when I place the car into Drive, the whole car will jerk and the same happens when I place the car in reverse. Then the car will not want to shift through the gears at the normal RPM. For example, if i lightly hold the acceleration pedal down the car normally shifts into 2nd gear around 2-2.5k depending on how lightly I press, now days, it will not shift until around 3.25k or higher. Also, when pressing on the accelerator there is a lag of about a second before the car accelerates. I'm guessing the engine mounts are bad b/c of the shutter when moving the car into drive or reverse. Any ideas?
