Rockauto is awesome. They usually show the brand of the parts you are buying so you can make a decision based on that. I don't think they discriminate they try to carry all the brands so you will find a lot of Chinese made stuff there, not always a bad thing depends on the part.

Ordered an Denzo O2 sensor on Friday afternoon. It was delivered on Monday, to Hawaii. I have found their prices to be better than ebay, even with shipping. I couldn't recommend any higher.

I might get in trouble for saying this here, but I routinely catalog Advance Auto Parts coupon codes on my website that give you up to 41% off of their in-store price. All you have to do is order online for in-store pickup.

I just bought one of their gold batteries for $110-40=70+tax, way cheaper than even Costco.

rockauto is great. as previously stated, they provide the manufacturer's name as well as the part number.
the thing to do is find the part number and then search around for the cheapest price (ebay, amazon, etc)
as for where 'they' (rock auto) are located... i think they pool their parts from many different sources rather than just have one huge warehouse. that would be more effective.
also, google rock auto discount codes.

Denso is an OE Manufacturer and not just to Japanese Auto Makers. I know Chrysler uses some Denso parts in their cars. Have never had an issue purchasing Denso parts. I recently purchased a TB Kit (Aisin) and brake pads and all new hardware from Rock Auto. Some of the brake parts I purchased came up discontinued so the Rock Auto guy called me and honored the original pricing even though replacements were more expensive. Rock Auto will definitely continue to get my business.

RockAuto is great, but not always the best. I used the for my head light and front marker light as it was quite a bit less than half what I could get it locally for, got the parts for my brakes locally as it would have cost more from Rock with shipping, plus would have taken 3 to 5 days. It all depends on what parts you are looking at, but I will always look at them before I buy somewhere else.
