Cold Air or Short Ram Intake ??
Ok, so everyone tells me that they dont make a cold air intake, or even a short ram intake pipe for the 92-96 ES300. Well, then why am I seeing these kind of things on that model ES in the picture gallery. I see alot of cars with the intake pipe. Is that custom or can you get buy it somewhere? Also, when they install this, how can they remove the air sensor "block thingy". The car usually stalls without it. Please someone fill me in.... Below is the best idea I could come up with to get cooler air into my intake.

simple answer....because that isnt a cold air intake....its just a semi ram setup. The cold air that I have is a mandrel bent tube that goes down to the bumper. The way they got it to work was to have a 2 section pipe with the MAF (the block thing) in the middle as well as welding 2 bungs for the sensors.
A air ram setup would be a short ram with a box surrounding part of it sealed to the hood that had a tube or dryer hose! connecting the two...im not sure the green one had a box so im not sure if its a air ram either.

Ohh, i see. Well, is there anyway you could make a cold air intake for me, like on your car, and sell it to me? If yes, how much? ALso, what year is your ES. I love that bodykit. Also, how much of a drop did you use on your car. The only one I could find is by Eibach ProKit for a 1in drop. I want something more then that, like a 1.75 or 2in! Let me know, thanks!
