Hi,
My son-in-law's ES300 had a transmission issue. When he picked up the replacement, they had cut the transmission throttle cable. In removing/replacing the cable, we found that a ball bearing had dropped out of the transmission. It is blue and there is a spot where a bolt goes in that seems to have the same blue color around it. Can anyone tell us if that is where it goes? We are trying to get his car back on the road and this has us stopped in our tracks.
Thanks!!!
Tim

Attached pictures show where the plate was before removal from the transmission. Another shows a picture of the plate, and then two others show two blue marks that are similar to the ball bearing that showed up after the plate was removed to install the new throttle cable. If anyone can help tell us where the ball bearing came from....we'd really appreciate it. We hope that it is not a sign of a problem, but is just something that we need to ensure gets put back in the right spot.
Thanks!!
Tim
