Wuddup CL?
Before anyone says its stupid to try to race an automatic fwd luxury car such as a 1997 Lexus ES300, I would like to tell them in advance I am disregarding their obvious answers, and am looking for real ways to race my baby faster. I am broke and cannot invest much into her, but I hope to get her ECU'd soon. Anyways, I am practicing my Left-Foot Braking, and can notice a drastic increase in my cornering speeds. However, that alone is not helping my times. I want to learn how to "upshift" faster in my automatic, especially on straightaways. Are there any acceleration techniques, to carefully monitor the RPMs so as to provide the fastest and most efficient upshifts in gears?
Thanks ahead of time,
Rayce
