So here's some pics of my babe as well as My Grandparents new(to them) es300. Can you tell we like these cars? It's a 95 220k runs great. Also we paid 2,700 for this one. Clean car though. Has all options except coach. Chrome wheels and heated seats even the gold package. Which mine had but I took them off lol.

So I've officially moved back home and really looked at the continuing condition of my car while they drove it and it's gotten bad they stopped trying to protect the paint to keep it from worsening the motor is till going for how long no one knows and the stock transmission is somewhat iffy at this point. Slams really hard into reverse. Still shifts the same going forward every once in a while it'll change a little hard going into third nothing major for a a trans with 230k. In other news my uncle just bought this..http://www.carfax.com/vehicles/WBAGN...760li--hickory
Hasn't had it for a week my god is it fast. Been looking at ls430s. Not sure if I can put more money into my car after what they've done to it. Some how a bunch of random interior stuff got broken and my grandpa has been using it as a work car and the tires I put on are more than half way wore fronts even worse cause they didn't keep them rotated. I still have my van looking to finance a new car. What do you guys think of the ls430??

You might try lowering it though, and maybe a cold air intake.

Based on the car you are driving now and how much you are worried on spending, I really wouldn't buy an LS430, not because it's a bad car, but because I think you might be overestimating how much car you can really afford. Costs are easily 4 times what they are on this ES, hell to change the catalytic converter on those at most places is worth more than your entire ES300. Just rock the van and just sell, scrape, trade in the ES. It's well last it's prime and it's just becoming a money pit (at least you make it seem that way). I don't want to come off as to harsh, but while the LS430s may have dropped in price, parts and service costs haven't.

Mini Van
Sorry for the wait you guys. In my true fashion you guys know I couldn't just leave this thing sitting as it was. So I went ahead and added some LED fog lights, painted the bumpers, the lower body, tinted the taillights, threw a trailer hitch on, made a real cold air intake, and put in a full banging stereo system.

This is awesome thanks for sharing
What are you gonna do for the lether? That's the one thing that has always stopped me from restoring an old es300 or es250... I wouldn't be able to do the leather my self and I'm afraid to ask how much it would be to have someone else do it.
Also, looks like you were able to leave the tranny in when you took the motor out? I always thought themed have to come out together in a front wheel drive set up. Any obstacles doing that?

NEW CAR! #Blessed
I have a new, well new to me Mazda6. It's a 2010 with 74k on the clock as of right now ive got 76400 on it. Over 2k in 3 weeks. I'm in love with this car. It's a 4 banger so I got 4 hamsters pulling me around but it's just as fast as my old lexus and handels way better I mean night and day. It's a base model so it's got a 6 speed manual in it! Yes a 6 SPEED! 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds and it gets 36+ miles to the gallon. It's nearly as smooth as the old es and is just as quiet but alot more fun. I miss Carla but she was old and tired and this Mazda is a great send off my mom's driving carla to her grave which won't be long. But I'm happy and hang around guys I'll be posting about mods and such here and on Mazda fourms I will share the link so you guys can always peak in on old Jonny and see what I'm up to. Thanks guys with love from North Carolina. literally
