Headlights??
has anyone ever bought headlights from amazon? mine are all hazy and I can't stand it! heres the link any info would be great

If you don't mind your headlights turning super yellow within a few months and the headlights not fitting perfectly in then go ahead but if i were you i would never buy aftermarket exterior parts they are just super cheap quality and look horrible when mount on your car. I recently changed my hood to an aftermarket hood got it painted and mounted looks really really bad biggest mistake i have ever done one side had a bigger gap then the other doesn't close right just bad bad bad lol.

Why don't you just clean your own headlights. There are numerous products that allow you to do that, and they work well. They should be able to remove all the the haze.

I just remembered one of the reasons why I wanted to replace them. I think I have a crack on one of them, because I got moisture in of them for some reason. Idk if its because of the wires of the hid kit that didn't let the boot cover the back side. lately I haven't seen any moisture in them so I'll give it a shot and resurface them.

I would check www.rockauto.com for the headlights. Still over $100, but probably alot better than the ebay ones and you dont have to polish them. I had to order one from them after my passenger-side light ate a chunk of rubber from a semi.

wow I had something like that happen to me except the chunk of semi tire smacked my windshield pretty Damn good. which one did you get? the various mfr? or the tyc?

Polish up your OEM one's....
Trust me, i had TYC within 1.5years it was yellow [the chrome yellowed] and it looked like ****. So i bought a new used OEM headlight and polished it.
Honestly, just wetsand them once, and polish them every 3-6mos as required....

I used a kit to clean mine, used 800 grit then 2000 then 3000. I wet sanded every time and it worked just fine! Only tip I would suggest is that when you get to 3000, set a pattern that you will sand (like up and down) and press lightly. Go in the same fluent motion and don't apply too much polish. I applied too much and it made it look more hazy! So I just used a dry paper towel to clean them off. Hope this helps!

Just replaced mine. I purchased new OEM Xenon headlight assemblies on eBay for 229 each, about half of full retail. Not cheap, but crystal clear and it does improve the light output.
