I'm working on replacing my current fog light with a HID 12000k light. However the casing, is highly texturized and the nice bright and purple tint is being distorted. Is there a way to remove the old casing and replace it with a clear casing so the light comes out clean and brighter? Thanks for your time!
(you can see the texturized fog light casing in this photo)

Hey there, Well your out of luck because it looks like you got the 97-99 Bumper and fog lights, The 00-01 have the clear lens fog lights. I don't know if its possible to change those lens and putting clear ones but i wouldn't bother if i were you even 35 Watt HID's melt the housing on this fog lights.

Thanks for the reply! I had no idea that those panels could melt. Would it be possible to replace those panels with some clear/glass aftermarket panels or just take them out and install project fog lights?
