been checking out the parts websites, little to no luck. A few of the places that are listing for sale for around $150, when I contact them w it's you have to buy the whole radio assembly not just the amp. $150 becomes $450+. What are the after market steps?

You can also ask your Lexus dealer who they deal with for such repairs.

If only you could convince the yards to sell you just the amp. You'd pay more than that for just the amp on EBay.
You might buy the whole shebang for $450 and have some spare parts, or maybe find an electronics person who could repair your bad amp.
Just FYI it seems like you are leaning aftermarket because you think it will be cheaper...consider that a decent 5 channel amp is going to be $200 at least. Now the Levinson system uses some DSP and EQ function that is inside the amp, and likely at least some of the speakers are going to be incompatible with an aftermarket amp due to impedance. you might be into this for a new headunit, amp and speakers when all is said and done. That is great if you want to build a new stereo system. Maybe not so much if you just want to get it working again.
Consider taking the hit for the used or repaired amp. You'll just unplug the old and plug in the new and avoid getting into a whole new system.
