Default 2003 ES300 Won't Start

I have a 2003 ES 300. When I turn the key over there is NO clicking noise, there is a humming sound (guessing that's the fuel pump), the lights on my instrument panel disappear, the clock disappears, and the vehicle doesn't even attempt to start.

The battery is good. The connections are clean w/ no corrosion.

Please help!!!

How did you determine the battery is good?
Just give the battery a boost.
If still no crank, the starter is dead.
If starts and then die shortly after the jumper cables are removed, alternator is dead.
If starts and drives around fine. But as soon as you turn off the car and you can't start it again, it is the battery.

BDSL,

I tested the battery. I even put a new battery in my car.

It still has no crank.

It started to hesitate while starting a couple days ago and I when I was going to drive to buy a new battery it wouldn't start.

It drove fine when it was on.

Would make sense if it was the starter that gave out but would it not make some noise, like screaming or something?
Don't know if you introduced yourself, but welcome to CL!

Are the connections on the battery tight? Is there any corrosion on the terminals?

Check for voltage at the starter while cranking; it should not drop below 9 volts. Also check the battery ground cable for a voltage drop. If you don't have a voltage drop problem then the starter is suspect.

It seems like there is no power to the rest of his vehicle.
Therefore, it is an open circuit somewhere...loose connection, bad connection, etc...

hzt30,

I checked everything you suggested and they are good, but the vehicle still doesn't start.

BDSL,

There is power to everything in my vehicle. The lights, indicators, alarm, key, remote, stereo...etc...they all work.

In your 1st post, you said there is no power to your instrument panel and clock. I assume there is no power to other electrical accessories.

Try boosting it first to see if that does anything. It doesn't cost you anything. Even when a battery gives 11 volt, insufficient current can cause no start.
