Value of 2006 ES330
Hi All:
Wondering how much my car is worth. I know what NADA and KBB say, but I don't have a way to factor in the extended warranty or recent 90K service.
It's a 2006 ES330 Silver with Ash leather, Navigation, heated and cooled seats, and cd changer. It has 87,000 miles. I bought the Lexus Platinum extended warranty good for 5yr/60k, so til 2017 or 142,000 miles. (It had 82k at time of purchase.)
I had the 90K service (timing belt, water pump and trans fluid changed) done last month for $1200 at the Lexus dealer.
In your estimation, factoring in the extras like the warranty and recent service, what would the car be worth in a private party sale?

look at auto trader .com. thats what use, thats low mileage for that car. keep the car, take care of it. i would keep the until the warranty is out. Do a search on auto trader for any distance. Private sale you will get more then a trade in. Just be careful on the sale. Sound like you have a good car.

Thanks for the input, I think I'm going to keep it. I have a dash noise on the drivers side by the windshield that's been driving me insane, to the point where I've been considering trading it. I've been trying to figure out what's causing it, I pulled the cluster and dug around behind the ducts, no luck yet. Sounds like a popping noise, very irritating. If anyone has input on that it would be much appreciated. It's a great, well built car that I know will run forever, I just need to fix this noise before I go crazy.

Based on how you described it I'd say anywhere between $14-16k and you'd be good. Don't take less than $13k.

Hey, I am in Canada, here that car would easily by 12-14k CAD plus.
after doing all that work on it though why would you sell it? its a great car, even at such high a price.
a friend of mine bought a 2002 es300 (same shape) and its an amazing car.

I decided to keep it. It's stupid to get rid of it because of noise... I love the car otherwise. I've posted another thread in regards to the dash noise to see if anyone has any ideas.

Back when I was 15, (I'm 16 now), I was going to sell my 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass just because it was burning oil really bad and was running rough. The forum Classic Oldsmobile helped me get the thing working. Then I sold it... Don't sell a Lexus that quickly!
