I can buy a '93 ES300 for $400. It has 130K. starts, runs. a bit of a "tick" which owner thinks is exhaust leak. Also has a loud squeal which he thinks is alternator bearing. has CEL and won't pass emissions.
body is mostly okay, no rust. Some scrapes. says he just replaced knock sensor. Also has mismatched, non-Lexus wheels. Also has decent cluster but 2 of the arrows are starting to flicker.
I need a rear hub/bearing assembly, and a lower/front motor mount. I don't really need much else. Unfortunately, i just replaced all 4 brakes & rotors on mine, aswell as hood struts, centre console armrest, and I sent out my cluster for needle repair. Once done with parts car, I can get $150 for scrap. I just don't want to spend $400. And whenever i need a part, it's used and double the work to remove & re-install.
MAYBE I can fix & get running better??
so would you buy this?

in my driveway, bought it tonight. starts, runs, drives. Needs a set of tires & wheels. noisy alternator. might even be worth fixing this unit. has 130K miles.
