I've known for a little while that my pads were needing changed soon. They squeak when pressing pedal and previous owner told me they would beed changed soon snd gave me new pads. Just tonight they will lightly sqeek when driving. I'm assuming this Is the squeal sensors rubbing meaning I need replaced ASAP.. Does that sound right?

The squealing noise can be the brake indicator rubbing against the brake rotors.
The only way to tell how much brake pad is left is to remove the wheel and look at the hole in the caliper.

yes, they usually have a small metal clip slid over the brakepad backing plate and it will rub when pads are low. some call them "squealers". easy to pull a tire off and look. also, your brake fluid resevoir should look a bit lower (always a good sign pads are worn).
make sure you also clean & lubricate the metal slider pins on the caliper. they have an accordian rubber boot over them to stop dust from seizsing them, but they do get sticky.
brakes on these cars are quite easy to do.
are you getting any chatter or vibration when you brake hard & steady? could mean rotors aswell. if not. give the rotors a sanding with coarse emery cloth to clean up for new pads.

You might find that after you replace the pads, your pedal will start vibrating during braking. This is caused by the fact that your new pads are completely flat and they do not pair well with worn rotors. If it does happen, you will need to "turn" your rotors (grind them down on a lathe).
