I'm looking for one of those car juke boxes for my car. My question is... is the stock stereo in the es300 (96) able to work with something that uses A/V cables??? this juke box hooks up though an FM mod. I kind of want to stay away from that. It also hooks up using the A/V cables I'm going to buy a nice new deck for the car, but for now i want to know if the car's stock deck is able to have things hooked up to it that use A/V or RCA cables. thanks guys.

 

Im not familiar with the term A/V cablesbut if they are the same as RCA's then your answer is no. The stock ES headunit doesnt have any type of RCA inputs. My sollution to this is, getting an amp with speaker level inputs, hooking it up to the factory amp, and hooking you juke box up to that... That sounds pretty much what I would do but I also dont know what the juke box has as far as connections and capabilities.
