Default XenonDepot Hid's installed in my 95 (need mounting suggestions)

hey guys i kind of wanted to show-off how the 93-96 with that came with halogen projectors look with hids

They are 5000k Xenondepot bulbs from our sponsor @ 35watts (support our sponsors!)
(BTW these are not the volt ones but the XTREME DIGITAL ones) [35 watts is plenty imo.]

our 93-96 es300's came with halogen projectors originally but since my light output was so bad even after cleaning the outside of them was so weak, i opt'd for some hid's since its my mom's car

i know i don't have foglights, i intend to get some at the junkyard and maybe i will HID those too

here is where i mounted it for now (i don't have a drill )
but i plan on mounting it somewhere soon and need suggestions.. also please ignore the plank my hood struts are dead :P

if anyone wants to help me drill them, so kind and thank you soo much

i was thinking about mounting it by the strut mount, but now that i think about its a bad idea.. since i don't know if drilling there is a good idea..

heres some of the cutoff (they are bright white, not a hint of blue, but cooler white than 4300k)
BTW my projectors are not clean, i will clean em later when i have the skills, tools, and time!

Thanks for posting up the results of installing the XenonDepot HIDs, i'm still debating on whether I will pick these up for myself or not, but looking at these results, I'm strongly considering it.

chaos, honestly i used to have DDM's and the quality of these are much better, a bit noisy since they use dual relay, but you won't notice it unless the engine is off, and warmup time isn't too bad.. and that was the whole point of me posting it up btw talk to steve and say i referred ya if he asks haha

also keep in mind that my projector lenses are very dirty... cleaning em up will give you alot more lighting
also my cutoff should be a little bit higher on the passenger side, but my adjuster tab is broken so yeah. .

if you want to check them out IRL let me know! we can set something up

the difference with hids and halogens are night and day though.

thanks for the suggestion EEngineer, do i need a drill btw?

Haha yeah sure if I hit up Steve i'll let him know you referred me. Yeah I can only imagine what they would be like if they were clean. Where are you located around? I'm in from around San Francisco.

Haha, yeah that's quite far. I'll keep an eye out for this thread but i'll probably end up getting the HIDs sometime around new years.
