so today i paid alot more attention to my shifting. on both counts mr booby and hypervish are right.
the car should shift up at 35 mpg abput 60 km/h but it likes to do that after the engines warmed up some, which means the needle is at the c mark and moving up. i warmed up my engine for about 30 seconds, then drove out and accelerated to 60 km/h and after a few seconds it shifted (almsot with a shrug) but then i let it be below 60 for awhile and once it was a bit warm it shifted as normal.
basically, i think Groober, just to reconfirm, its shifting fine in my opinion.

Took it the Benchmark Transmission place and drove it with one of their transmission guys. My fears were unfounded. You guys were right about the slight warm up period. False alarm.
