Default A Lil More Pep Please......

I am overall happy with the performance of my ES300. Maybe thats because I my previous cars were a Chevy Blazer and Plymouth Laser. Anyhow, are there any other mods to add a lil pep to my ride. Something that wont seriously dent my wallet??

does the timing advance do anything bad to the engine? I heard that it affects the life of the engine.

It may do that but I believe if you do not go crazy with the advance and run premium gas all the time, it should be fine. I was going to have it done before my es died. But trust you will feel a difference. It also works best with high quality spark plugs. Because you are igniting more fuel and air, thus giving you better performance.

Ok i know the car says to use iridium spark plugs. But from my experiences copper provide the most spark and best improvement with a timing advance. On the other hand they have to be changed more often. But with some copper plugs and running 93 octane gas you should be able to advance the timing pretty far and get a reasonable performance improvement.
