New ES300 owner with some minor issues
Hi everyone
I just got my first Lexus. A 1996 ES300. I'm having a few minor issues with it and was wondering if you guys can help me out?
1. Trunk release button or driver door does not open the trunk. I can use the key but the button is not working. I am aware of the trunk lock button in the Glove but that does not work either. When I press the driver door trunk release button I can hear a little click near the glovebox.
2. Fast left blinker. I check the bulbs and they all seem to be working.
3. Dash lights, some of them are burned out (RPM, Temp and GAS). Is it difficult to pop out the dash instrument panel out to replace the bulbs? Is it an easy swap with different color LED bulbs?
4. Antenna, it's bent at top. I cannot hear the motor when I turn the radio on/off.
Any help is appreciated.

1. is there a fuse? if not wiring perhaps? i'd get a voltmeter and check out connections.
2. Most likely it is due to aftermarket LED bulb in there. They have different resistance and blink faster. Put stock back in there if you care.
3. this is fairly big job, but doable, basically rip the dash out and then replace burned out bulbs one by one (soldering involved), there is a DIY here somewhere.
4. either motor is dead or plastic rubber thingy that moves the antenna inside is dead (this is from my experience with other cars, probably the same on lex)
