My apologies, I didn't make myself clear. I took it in to do a fuel filter check and if it was the cause, which it was, then replace it. I actually searched the forums for how to do it myself, but it seemed to be easy, but time consuming, and I didn't have much time this weekend so, had them do it.
I don' t know how to check the CAT for flow/blockage, but I am bringing it to the same store when I get more cash. I suppose I could search the forums again, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had these issues. If I had to guess, I would say we need to connect some device to the O2 Sensor or something.

I'll have the cat checked out next week. If it proves to be clogged, I might save up more cash so I can get both the new cat and a custom Y pipe. I've been informed that a wider Y pipe adds quite a bit of HP.
I was thinking of doing the porting while my heads were off, but I was quoted $800 and I simply didn't have the cash at the time. Could have done it myself, but I don't have a garage to keep this car in so....ohhh well.

never had a standard, but the "Y" pipe is pretty easy to remove. I seem to recall a couple of springs to pull off near manifolds, and maybe a clamp or 2 down below, then it's loose/disconnected, some wiggling and twisting and it's off and out of the way.

Igot everything out and it's all ready for a new clutch but I can't find a new flywheel anywhere no parts stores and not even online they are all the wrong ones and the ones that would work are aftermarket and expensive youhave any ideas I was thinking getting it machined but because the wholefriction side of flywheel is even eighths non friction part so wouldn't that make the clutch stretch more or have less room to grip?

Search for part number 13405-62020 this was used on quite a few cars including the Solara. If your flywheel can be resurfaced the shop doing it will look up the specs to see if there is enough material left.
