Is this the normal position the wipers should be in when parked? I would think they should be at least partly under the hood.

OK, so I just looked it up in the owner's manual, The position they are in now is the rest position.'
To get them to go down into the retracted position I just pushed them by holding passenger side wiper blade where it meets the arm. I took more force than I was willing to use the 1st time I tried it.

That position is the winter position. In the summer position, the wipers are hidden underneath the hood.

I noticed in picture 2 that your dash has rolled up by the pass airbag. Mine has done the same thing. Is their a way to fix that? do they make replacement dash tops? Thanks.

I don't know about fixing the dash area. I just bought the car in Oct. 2012, so it isn't bothering me enough to worry about fixing it.

Well mine didnt bother me at first but looking at it for the last few months has really started to annoy me now. lol
