Thanks for the prompt feedback. Sloooow has posted his experience in an earlier, thread, and I wish I had referred to his and your, post before I impulsively started my purchases. The shocks are Sensen shocks and strut, a complete set at $154 on e-bay. My budget for the work was limited, and following the threads, a complete suspension rebuild including the expense for installation is beyond my reach at this time.. I'll probably go with the k-sport lowering shocks due to cost. I'll need to purchase the seats, bellows, etc after the tax check is in hand. I will follow this thread, and if anyone has info on reliable mechanics in the Dallas, text a area, I'm all ears.

Thanks again

This is an earlier thread on 2nd gen ES suspension. The thread referenced by Mr Booby is more current.

I've heard good things about Sensen. I believe they are a major OE manufacturer for some automakers. Let us know how it goes. Oh and suspension overhauling can get expensive really fast, I'm just glad I'm done with mine.

well I solved my rattling noise. I replaced the dogbone motor mount. The rubber eyelet was quite torn. CHEAP = $15 through ebay. 5 minutes to re& re. Easy to remove and check. was torn on both my 93s, both with about 140K miles.

I now have 2 BNIB front quick struts that I'm not sure i want to bother installing.

I have been looking for front quick struts for my 93 as well. Where did you find them? How much were they? If you are not going to install them do you wanna sell em? I just did my rear with quick struts off ebay and they are great!! Major difference.

I got mine from Ebay, here is a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/230918537929...84.m1439.l2649

I believe AM autoparts also had a set for $10-20 cheaper, but they wouldn't sell to me because I am in Canada (even though I pay US funds and have shipped to my USA address). something to do with credit card address being in canada, although the other 300+ ebayers I've purchased from, and hundreds of other on-line sellers in USA have never had an issue taking my credit card. Okay, i guess I am whining but it is stupid of them. I figure anytime your policy costs you a sale, it's bad business. but what do I know!!
