I am just wondering on how fast are the ES 300's capable of going?? 230 km?? I own a '98 E 320 but I drive my mom's '98 ES 300 sometimes and it's a nice, smooth car! It has 103,000 KM.
i've gone only to 200 km/h, maybe 205 km/h in it. I am just like to know how fast you ES 300 drivers pushed your cars to, if u ever done that of course

how did you guys hit 230 km per hour, that is like 145mph... i got scared at 135(220km/h) and i ran out of driving room

highest i've gotten is 90...friggin POPO...why we let da MAN suppress us lagg this is unknown! we should rebel...i would push the lex...only that i love it do death and me fraida da POPO wid dem mad azz sirens and what not

I haven't gotten mine abover 105-110 mph since the only roads I'd feel comfortable doing faster on are also frequented by those guys with the scary red and blue lights.

I once had mine around 130 driving on the interstate. Back in July though, I got pulled over, 90 in a 45. I don't speed anymore.

Most speedometers are "optimistic"--they read high. If you take these reports of going "230 kph" and make the adjustment downward by 10%, you end up at just under 130 mph. Sounds about right to me.

I've hit 245 km/h in my benz but since it only has 20 more horses and 20 more torque than the ES, i just thought then the lexus is capable of doing around 230 b/c its lighter. i'll try it out sometime plus, the E320 is MUCH more powerful even though it has 20 more horses... but i like drivin the lexus since it is smoother and quieter :P

ive been up to 125mph. it wouldnt go any faster. i had it pushed down and it stayed at 125 for a good 10 seconds.

ive been 140 mph and i know it because a 2002 325i was next to me and he had the same reading, the govenor kicked in somewhere before 140 but i was goin down hill so it still was speedin up. it was damn fast, tunnel vision!

I was racing a tricked out honda civic, and mustang (not a 5.0) on the interstate. I smoked the civic after I hit 100, and the mustang kept up with me for some time. When I hit 135 the mustang tryed pulling some stupid lane change and almost killed himself. I decided then that it was time to slow down. My car was still speeding up with ease. I bet the ES3 could get up to 145 no prob. Be safe and dont race, I got too many damn tickets, im done.

ya my car is governed at 125, thats not enough, how do you diconnect/override the govenor?
