Radio and Climate Control backlighting bulbs Q's
I've got an '02 ES and my radio's back-lighting looks odd to me. The LCD's on the radio seems dimmer than the climate control one. However, in the evening, the two are the same. Is one of my LED's out? Is there a way to figure out which one without having to go with trial and error. Are they replaced the same way as the climate control bulbs? Does the unit come out the same way as the climate control unit (pulling straight out, no screws holding it in)?
With respect to the climate control one of my bulbs burnt out. I got it replaced and instantly another blew out. Replaced it and two more blew out. (again we're talking instantly). I'm guessing that the current being drawn by the healthy bulbs is exposing the weaknesses the caused the old bulbs to blow. With 170k on them, not the end of the world. But very annoying. So, as others have suggested, replace them all at once, because you will....
