Default Dextron II or Toyota tranny Fluid

I posted aas to when to change fluid in tranny and 30 or 50 k was the answer Ireceived, both seem reasonable. But which fluid? Dextron II or the Toyota fluid, I dont want to mess up OR are they both compatible? Thanks for replies.

Look at the manual, read it next time.

It's type-iv, Toyota fluid, anywhere between 5-8$ a bottle.

not sure what my tranny calls for, but my PSteering is dexron II. I'd stick to what they call for.

Toyota Type-IV, not sure how many times I have to tell you.

If you don't believe me, then maybe you should stop being lazy and check the manual where it clearly states use Toyota Type-IV. http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do...pdf/sec6-3.pdf
