Default Do you wax your headlights / taillights?

So here's the deal, I was wondering what is the general consensus on waxing healights and taillights. My car has original headlights which are not at all yellowed, and I was wondering if giving them a coat of wax would protect them or if it could damage the coating... I use regular Meguaiar's caranuba wax. I'm asking this because I read somewhere that you are not supposed to wax clear plastic... any thoughts?

I've done it for many years never had any issues, all kinds of products from natural waxes to synthetic finishes. Not sure how much protection it affords but if the product has UV protection no reason it won't help on the headlight lenses.

you bet i do it everytime i wax the car. i just use the same wax that i use on body and had no problems ever since. sometime i maybe use scratch X (from Meg) for tail lights to remove any swirls. The more you maintain it the less problems it will have.
