On my es330 the steering wheel vibrates on the highway.. Especially on smooth roads.. Car still drives smooth but the steering wheel shakes and makes a noise.. Possible from lower steering column.. Anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions.. Tires have been balanced and rotated

Feels like I have more play in the steering wheel so I don't think it's a tire issue.. Could be wrong.. Even when parked the steering wheel can move back and forth more than usual

How many miles on the car? My 04 es has 102000 miles and makes a few strange sounds when I park, nothing real bad yet. Have a good tech. check it out. Some shops do way too much. Could be something simple.

jack up the front end and check tie rods, inner and outer, for play, and control arm bushings. OR take to good mech. who knows how to test suspension components

if you have that much play start from your tire rodes and move in. My boys 300 had a similar issue and his had to do with power steering. Not sayin thats what it is but take it to a trusted tech like tim said

Changed the lower spline in steering column.. Best investment!! Car run SO SMOOTH NOW!! Anyone have steering shaking issues!! U need to change it out.. That's if u can't figure out the problem

Glad that worked out, I think I'll get mine checked out, I think I found a good independent shop for Lexus/ Toyota.
