Default Strut Mount Question

Hello, I'm new to the forum but I have found several threads to be very imformative. I own a 2001 es300 with 75k miles. I appear to be having a very common noise problem from my front strut mounts. I would like to ask a couple questions. Will I need to have the front end aligned after replacing the front strut mounts? Also, what after market struts mounts have you found to be reliable? Thank you.

yes, definitely need to do an alignment after as there is adjustment on the lower strut area for camber or castor.

KYB is a good brand name. Personally, i cheaped out and bought a "quick strut " set up off of ebay. very simple as it comes with coil/spring, strut, bearing...complete.... you don't have to compress spring, just re & re. And it has guarantee. cost me about $200 for a pair, shipped.

Thank you. In that case, I suppose I shouild take the opportunity to replace the struts or possibly the "quick strut".
