Default HELP ES300 Sunroof Drain Leaking onto floor

I have a 97' ES300 white/tan leather and one of the rear sunroof drains is leaking - seems to be coming out just above the rear door jam about half way up towards the trunk. Does anyone have instructions on what I need to do to repair it? Looks like I may need to remove the rear seat and maybe some molding? But a how to would be very helpful so I don't pull apart things I don't need to.

Any help is appreciated - Jgreenf

Default Newb here. One sister has a 99 SC400 and another has a 2000 es300.

Hello to everyone. I've been using this group as reference for awhile and I want to thank all you members who have kindly shared your information.
My sister has 2000 es300. It is kind of smoky silver with slightly darker cladding and a light parchment color interior.
It has only had one owner and has been kept in the garage all it's life. Unfortunately, the garage is in a condominium so the same people kept banging their doors into the sides so it has the Machine Gun effect, though not too bad.
Someone also chipped the lower trim on the right rear door. I just found one at a junkyard and I am going to replace it and the grille (same junkyard) as the original is chipped.

I'll take before and after pictures.
After that it's Dent Dr., the paint is pretty nice and it's had every single maintenance item (probably much unnecessary) since day one.
Finally, I may attempt to fix a crack in the front bumper (don't know how it happened) if I feel that I can blend the paint properly.
NOTE: The junkyard I frequent just got a rash of es300's, the newest being a 2000 as far as I can tell. I will look in the classifieds and see if I can help anyone, the yard is very affordable.
Thanks.
Joe

Default My user name.

Hi again. I don't want anyone to get offended by my user name. I was having trouble registering and of course when I put this in, it went through. I've requested a change.

Hi I'm jared I bought a 1994 lexus es300 its two tone green and silver sitting on some 17"black amd chrome venti 5star rims I've painted the calipers red and blacked out the tail lights..
Ita the only es300 I've seen around my town with the blacked out tail lights it has 275k but I just put brand new timing belts pullys and tensioners along with cam shaft crank shaft and vc cover gasket and seals along with e3 plugs. I'm still working on it looking to put green neona all the way around and in the wheel walls also a angel eye kit and touch screen. All and all I'm extremely satisfied with this car u wouldn't think it even has 50k on it that's how clean it is.

Default How to activate the rear shade

When the 2006 ES 330 was being shown, dealer used a rear screen. I can't figure out how to activate that screen. Please help?

Talking New Member Dtbaker

Hello,

1998 ES300, still getting it cleaned up (fluids, license brackets, corrosion inspection) bought from dealer on ebay and had it shipped about 350 miles.

Looking for various information and always willing to do research and answer questions that I can.

Not a fan of ignorance, speculation or vehicle abuse. Also, was on Toyota Nation - thanks for having me.

1994 Camry XLE 319,600 miles
1998 Lexus ES300 119,000 miles - going for 500,000 - so far...so good.

Still have my grandfather's axe; it's had two heads and seven handles; the wedge is original - so it's still the same one.

Default Getting to know my first Lexus

Just purchased a 2000 EX300 for my 16 yr old for a school car. White exterior, tan leather interior, chrome factor rims, I've enjoyed becoming a student of the car. I've heard this car is pretty bullet proof so far so good.

Enjoying this site, I'd like to be able to "Do It Myself" especially the repairs that the dealership say are impossible to fix on my own.

Two blank keys with remotes purchased off eBay $39, cut by locksmith and programed myself.

Hi Everyone!
I'm "TJams" and picked up my 2002 Lexus ES 300 today! It's Blue, FULLY LOADED and gorgeous!
This is my first time owning a Lexus and I am happy to have found this forum.
After considering an Acura, I decided to roll with the Lex because of the "luxury" factor and I'm glad I did.
I look forward to learning lots from everyone here!
If you have any advice for this "novice" Lex owner, PLEASE let me know!
See you around!

Hello! My first hand-me-down Lexus is a 1993 ES300. Tan in color, and needs a lot of TLC. My first Lexus and it gets up and scoots!
