Hello
Hi All,
I've been following the threads on here for a long time, and have decided it's time to participate. I'm an owner of a '92 ES300 that has given it's share of fine service and is often in need of a little TLC in these older days, but still is a very nice and comfortable car to drive.
I want to thank all of those who have been able to go down these roads before me and have shared their wealth of knowledge!!
Enjoy and happy Fourth!

Greetings All,
I have owned my 1993 ES300 since 1997 and have recently brought it back to running condition after it sat dormant for 7 years! It has 89K original miles and still runs just as it did when I bought the car. I will be making some sound system mods but other than that (and the '92 SC300 wheels) I am keeping it original. Pics to follow!
Cheers!

Hi there, not sure if I'm a little late but just got a 1996 ES300 Coach edition passed down from my uncle. It's a little beat up but I'm hoping to get it back to working condition. I'm a total car newb but interested in learning some mechanic work and also want to install a aftermarket head unit and remote start system. Just joined the forum and I hope to become a part of the community

Been here since March 2009 but My name is Gerson. My occupation is a line tech @ Toyota and I'm a proud owner of a a rare 92 ES300 5 speed and a 95 Toyota Corolla with a 4A-FE 5 speed I wanna use for daily when I get a new motor for it. This is my list of mods I've done so far and I want to restore the car a bit and save for a new Garrett GT series turbo and other supporting mods while I keep it a sleeper.
Rebuilt 3VZ-FE with new Toyota parts and bored .020 over
-AEM CAI from the 1MZ engine
-powdercoated engine brackets in black
-NGK Iridium plugs and wire set
-clean engine bay
E53 5 speed resealed with new detents from Toyota
-Exedy oem clutch kit (TOB sucks now, makes noise)
-Speed source shifter base and cable bushings
Tokico HP strut inserts with new Toyota Camry SE V6 strut plates and boots
-SuperPro LCA, front sway bar, and torque rod bushings
-Tein 99 Solara Springs (not installed)
-Stock Brakes
-IS300 17x7 silver wheels with 215/55/17 Michelins
Stock Ivory interior and black/grey exterior
-SMD LED instrument cluster bulbs with 95-96 red needles
-LED trunk, glove box, and tag lights
-6000k HID kit.

Hello, I just joined the Lexus club. I have a 93 es300 that I have owned for 14 years. The head gasket on my car needs to be replaced. I took the engine apart and ordered a head gasket kit. I need to know how much to torque the head bolts. Does anyone know what the head bolt specs are on this car? I am a retired auditor, not a mechanic, so all this is new to me. Also, anyone had success milling cylinder heads on a glass table with sand paper glued to it? I saw a video on the internet where this guy milled cylinder heads this way. He said it takes about a half hour. It looks like it might work. There is a machine shop here in Honolulu that does that but they charge an arm and leg. Maybe its worth it. Any assistance is much appreciated.

I've been on Club Lexus for a while now just to review others' problems and solutions but this is my first post.
I own a 2004 Lexus ES330, Maroon, with 113,000 miles. I bought it in '08 with 47K miles. My wife has back problems and I bought it because of lumbar support of the seats. We love it and plan to keep it for at least 90K more miles.
Photos to follow.
My only issue at this time is I can't use the auto function for my rear windows from the driver's side control panel. Help?

Just bought a 1999 Lexus 300 ES
Lot's of miles on the chassis (238k), but only 100K put on the newer engine. So far I'm happy with the car and crossing my fingers that nothing major goes wrong.

Options
Nav system / Mark Levision Audio package package
Wood and leather steering wheel
Heat front seats
HID headlights
VSC with brake assist and traction control
Power rear sunshade

New owner of a 2004 es330 with 88k miles. I hope to learn some great tips and tricks. The previous owner never returned the alarm key so after calling calling Lexus $250+$250, I was able to find a local key place that ordered one. The key plus cutting and programming was $200. I'm looking now to add a way of playing my iphone through either adding an FM Modulator. I have the Nav with changer option.
