Hey hey! Just bought my "new to me" 2002 ES300 with 48k miles on it, I'm looking forward to, like, 100 years of dependable service out of it from what I've read! I work at a Cadillac dealership in TN..which...is of course where I bought it.

Options
Mark levinson sound
Navigation
Heated seats
Disc changer
Sunroof
Power rear sunshade
HID Headlights
And I just discovered the automatic wipers! (Cadillac calls this rainsense)

Hey all! I'm new here and new to Lexus, just got a very late model 1994 Lexus ES300, it's almost a 1995. One owner, has all the original keys, paperwork and manuals. Has 192000 miles on it, the original owner had the engine rebuilt at about 150000 miles, new timing belt, gaskets, the works along with a new radiator and hoses. Interior is in nice shape, the drivers seat leather is coming apart at one of the seams and all of them need to be cleaned and conditioned, but it's very good for its age.

It has a few problems but nothing major, the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor needs replaced, a power steering hose is leaking and my latest discovery, the air intake hose is completely split in half! It didn't look like it was, but I kept having it try to stall in first gear taking off from a stop and after looking up the problem on here and seeing that a broken or cracked hose can cause it, I inspected the hose and sure enough! Other than that, everything else seems to work well on it. Paid a very low price considering what it has had done to it, so I'm a happy camper. I'll post pics here later.

Default 2000 es300

I'm new to the forum, however have been getting good info from here for close to two years now. My first Lexus was a '99 ES300 I bought with about 150k mi. I bought in mach 2012. The car was in excellent condition until less than a month later, someone ran a traffic light and totalled it with my wife and daughter inside. They came out without a scratch, and now my wife wants nothing else. To replace it I found a 2000 ES300 and since there were no maintenance records I promptly repaced the timing belt and pulleys, cam seals, and water pump. None of those repairs would have been possible without the good info on this forum. That is why i decided to join.

Good Morning everyone. I just bought my 1st Lexus and so far I am very happy. Lets see the car is a 2000 Lexus GS300, the interior is tan however I am thinking of changing it to black this winter. The car is currently sitting on 20's (player rims), full set of neon's, nice body kit over-all I think it simply looks nice. However I do have some plan to upgrade the current system and have the car re-painted. Check out my picture on my profile.

Default New member, just purchased 2002 ES300

I’m new, just purchased a 2002 ES300 with 58,856 miles. It came through an insurance company after suffering light hail damage. I checked Lexus service to verify the mileage is accurate. I’ve been driving very dependable Volvo’s for 30 years but never had these features or luxuries before. I’m enjoying this find, it will get good care.

Hi my name is Ted, I'm from Northern California. I've driven nothing but Chevy trucks my entire adult life. As a kid I only drove vintage vw's. I needed a comfortable commuter car for my 150 mile round trip so I got a 2000 es300. Grafite pearl with leather. Shortly after my wife started working and needed a commuter so we got her a 1998 gs400. Gold series with all the add ons. Now I'm trying to keep these 2 cars looking as good as they did when we bought them. Mine has 250,000 miles. Runs and looks great. Maybe later ill post some pics.

Just bought my first car and it is a 1996 es300, the coach edition. It does have a few issues, someone backed into the hood with a trailer hitch so it's being held down by bungee cords. If anyone is selling one let me know preferably silver. Also the drivers door doesn't open from
The outside or the inside ?

Hello! Not new to the forum or to lexus. Used to own a 1996 es 300. Have been looking for a '98 - 2000 Ls 400 for a few months now. Happened upon a 2004 es330 this am and jumped on it. Its a dark blue and the interior is impeccable. Looked all over the site this am before the test drive to get a feel for what to look for. The rear windows wouldn't go down and the now previous owner was quoteda ludicrous amount for the repair. I used that to save a nice chunk of money off the purchase price. Came home, did the TSB I saw posted and they work!!

Silver/black 2000 ES 300 Platinum, purchased new by father-in-law, now my around town daily driver with 133K. Great reliable vehicle, just need to reset the CEL from time to time due to evaporative emissions.

Other vehicles:

2012 Honda Accord EX V6 sedan
Heavily modified 1982 Volvo 242 Turbo
